Help for Pallette

This is Pallette and my daughter Allie. Pallette belongs to my mother, Terri, but she and Allie are best buddies and love each other very much. They visit frequently for snuggles and pets.
Today something happened to this very sweet kitty. My mother found her badly injured and in great pain. According to the emergency vet, she was dropped or thrown from a great height. Some very cruel person did this to her. The bones in her "wrists" are crushed. She needs orthopedic surgery. This is not going to come cheaply. My mom, Terri, and the rest of Pallette's humans are meeting with the ortho surgeon on Monday to get a full review and estimate. The ER doctor guessed about $3000 per paw - $6000 total.
Mom and I, along with the rest of the family, are heartbroken. Worse, Allie is going to be devastated. She dreams of becoming a vet to fix all the hurt animals of the world, and now her best friend is suffering. For her 5th birthday she asked for no gifts and instead raised over $500 for a local animal rescue. Allie and I are now asking for your help to save Pallette's life as she undergoes surgery and we try to figure out who might have done this to her. Won't you please donate? Even a small amount will help this sweet, gentle kitty as she recovers.
