My name is Georgia and this fundraiser is for Lucky, Eva & Bear to fly from Egypt to the UK into foster homes.
With everything going on in the world there is many uncertainties, which leads us to worry very much for the future.
But one thing for certain, is that prices already have increased drastically and we need to stock up on supplies to ensure we can feed the dogs, and provide them with necessary medical treatments.
There is a big risk to shortages and we need to be prepared for the safety and wellbeing of the dogs.
Our team have been in lots of talk recently about what is best for the dogs, and we believe we should bring the dogs to safety in order to give them a chance at the best life.
We have loving fosters lined up, but in order to do this we need to raise the money for their travel too.
At the moment the cost of boarding and feeding the dogs alone is sky high, not only will dogs traveling cut down costs massively long term, but in ensures they are safe. But also makes room for any emergency cases that need rescuing.
Times like this are scary with the unknown, drastic changes, and the fact animals are already far down on the list of priorities.
But together we can really make a difference. Even if its one dog at a time
All 3 of these lovely souls had a cruel start to life. We can tell their story, but it still wouldn't emphasise the suffering they endured.
Lucky had lived on the street for many months before we found her.
Sadly Lucky had a mammary tumour and TVT which is a cancer that grows rapidly. She had been bleeding for months on the street
Both tumours required surgery and months of chemotherapy.
For a long time Lucky was not responding to treatment, and we feared the worst.
It was months of heartbreak and uncertainty... but then....
Miraculously Lucky overcome it all, her cancer was finally gone, and Lucky is now ready to start her new journey.
And then there is Eva....
A beautiful, gentle, precious soul. Who had been born into the world of dog fighters.
They bred from Eva her whole life, and Eva watched her babies be used in horrendous acts of cruelty. Her babies were stripped from her and she either watched them suffer, or be given away to never be seen again. Litter after litter, Eva never knew what it was to experience love, or comfort, there was no kindness, just cold hearts with violent hands.
Evas body was deteriorating when we rescued her. Fur was disappearing, nipples hanging low, her soul completely broken.
But she soon knew she was safe. Eva found out what it is to be loved.
But she needs more.. and now is her time.
Bear....
A gorgeous boy with so much character. He was rescued at 3 months old after he was found lying on the side of the road.
He had been hit and left for dead.
In the vets Bear had hypothermia and sepsis and his future looked impossible... his fractures were severe.
But Bear was a fighter, and he was determined to live... and he had surgery to repair the broken bones.
Bear has been with us for over a year, in kennels, missing out on all his puppy hood. The important times of his life.
Bear needs out, and he needs out now.
Bear has so much love to share.
All of these beauties have experienced the worst kind of humans. But despite their past, they are forgiving, trusting, they have learnt that not all humans are bad, they have become so attached to their humans and thrive when close to them.
To really fulfil these amazing dog's lives, and make the past never to be remembered, they are waiting to travel to England where they can start their journey to a new life
Going into foster will open many doors for them, new experiences, and make the chances of finding a home much greater.
These 3 are angels, their temperament is just perfect, they are all gentle, trusting, they love other dogs, they are forgiving of humans, and they just want to receive as much love as they give.
Please help Eva, Bear and Lucky to travel.
It will be life changing for them ❤️
