My name is Yuvleen, and I am 12 years old. A few days ago, my whole world changed forever. I lost my papa, Rajinder Singh, to a sudden heart attack. He was not just my father—he was my hero, my best friend, and the person who made me feel safe every day. In 2022, after Covid, my papa went to Europe to work so he could give my mama and me a better future. To do this, he took a bank loan of ₹12 lakh, even risking our home. Everything he did was for us. Tragically, while he was in Europe, my papa passed away suddenly due to a heart attack. There was no insurance, something we never imagined we would need. To bring his body back to India, my mama had to borrow money from relatives, creating more debt. Papa’s funeral has taken place, but the pain is still very heavy. Papa was the only earning member of our family. My mama is a homemaker with no income and is now trying to manage everything alone. Along with our emotional loss, we are facing severe financial hardship, including the ₹12 lakh bank loan and additional debts. This fundraiser is to help my mama and me meet our basic needs, repay the loan, and keep our home.
