Hurricane Harvey Help Family

I am Antonio Betancourt from Richmond, Texas, I am trying to raise funds to provide the bare necessities, including shelter and transportation  for my son Levi and his two daughters McKenzie & Allison, aged 12 and 11.  

Levi evacuated his place on Port Aransas, TX on Friday when it became obvious Hurricane Harvey was coming on shore near Port Aransas.  Although the winds seemed mild at first; they heard the reports it would get up to Cat 3.  As most of you now know, it came in as a Cat 4 hurricane creating total devastation to Port Aransas and many communities in Texas.  As the storm was imminent, Levi secured his home, bolting it down the best he could before leaving with his mother; where they are staying at a hotel in Alice, TX.

On Tuesday, August 29th; he returned. The effects of the storm were catastrophic. The salt water had surged through the island and risen to five feet above the entire island. His modest trailer which is his primary residence with his two daughters is now uninhabitable.  The trailer was flooded and is now  ruined by saltwater which entered and damaged everything; appliances; beds, clothes.  All of his and his two daughter's personal effects, electronic devices, toys have been lost. The outer aluminum shell is all that remains. Levi had just finished paying off the trailer in July.    My son and grandchidren will need EVERYTHING as he had no insurance in place due to his limited income.  He has lost it all including his job.   Levi has always been a responsible father meeting his child support obligations and regularly shares time  and co-parents his children. 

Levi doesn’t even have a car to move around to seek employment/shelter necessities elsewhere to start over.   Levi worked in the tourism industry providing tour packages for birders, fishermen etc. He will be without a paying job while he finds a new place to live until he can get back on his feet.   Levi and his family will need at least some of the funds coming right away, every little bit will help.
