Help Ukraine VI buys flights for Ukrainian Teens

Help Ukraine VI was contacted by a mother wanting to send her 18 year old daughter and 16 year old son to safety in Canada. We have a home for them to stay at for one year where they will be safe and cared for. But as we do not normally pay for flights we are asking for community help to assist in the unusual situation.

The father and the rest of the family are in Ukraine, and the mother will be returning to join them with the children are in safe. For the safety of the children we will not be publishing any private information or photos, however if you email or private message we can provide more information to verify the situation.

 

We know how generous our community is, and we are hoping to fundraiser quickly and have them in Canada by July 1. If we raise funds above and beyond the target, 100% of that money will go to assisting Ukrainian refugees on Vancouver island, including this family.
