Hey, my name is Tracy Morgan yeah, like the comedian but you can call me by my middle name, Vonshell. I was born with Cerebral Palsy and I’ve been fighting since day one. I’m 36 now, and for most of my life, I’ve been confined to a bed. But I haven’t given up on building something real. I just need a chance to keep going.

In 2003, I had hip surgery where doctors used metal to hold things in place. Recovery seemed normal until the cast came off my legs were stuck in a crossed position, and any movement caused intense pain. That’s when everything changed.

I was pulled out of public school and homeschooled. At first, I thought that meant freedom. But when your legs won’t uncross and pain controls your day, freedom starts to feel like a prison. I spent years stuck in a bed. The few friends I had came through my brother if he made a friend, I made a friend. That was my world.

In 2005, a doctor in Lexington removed my left hip. It gave me some relief, but it came at a serious cost I lost a lot of mobility. Without a hip bone on that side, even basic movement became harder. So when the pain continued in my right hip, I didn’t want the same thing done again.

The pain never went away, but I waited five years because I didn’t want to lose more mobility like I did with my left hip. The only reason they removed the left one first was because it was more damaged at the time. I didn’t want to risk losing the little independence I still had.

In 2010, I finally found a doctor in Louisville who offered a better option a full hip replacement instead of removing the bone. That surgery worked. But by then, I had already spent years stuck in bed. Not just five but since 2003. Over time, I lost so much core strength that I still can’t sit up or even lean forward on my own.

Today, I use an iLevel power wheelchair that weighs over 420 pounds. I live with my grandparents, who take care of me, and I love them deeply. But they’re getting older, and I want to relieve some of the weight they’ve carried for so long. I want to move forward with more independence.

I’m trying to raise money for a wheelchair-accessible van that can safely carry me and my chair. The van needs to support the size and weight of my equipment, have space to move from the back to the front passenger area, and most importantly include an automatic docking system.

That docking system matters more than people might think. The people around me are aging, and asking them to manually strap down a 420-pound wheelchair each time I go somewhere isn’t just hard it’s physically and mentally draining. The automatic dock removes that stress. It’s safe, secure, and gives everyone peace of mind.

I also need help covering therapy, car insurance, and a few small outings that remind me what it’s like to actually be in the world not just watch it through a window.

Earlier this year March 1 2025, I couldn’t even attend my aunt’s funeral. I had no way to get there. My chair couldn’t be transported, and I can’t sit in regular seats. People would’ve had to carry me, and that wasn’t safe or dignified. That moment hit me hard. I don’t want to keep missing life like that.

I want to create new memories, not just remember old ones.

Even from bed, I’ve been building something. I create content across TikTok, Twitch, and YouTube. My main TikTok account, @TrayGotTikToks, has over 11,000 followers, and I’ve started expanding across new channels too.

I talk about entertainment, gaming, and real-life topics. Content creation gives me purpose and connection it’s not just a hobby, it’s a lifeline. My goal is to grow my audience and turn my voice into income. Streaming lets me work from home and do something that actually brings me joy.

We’ve watched Tracy endure more pain than most people could imagine. Through everything, he’s never stopped dreaming. We’ve done our best to support him and always will, but we know we won’t be here forever.

We want Tracy to have the opportunity to enjoy life to be emotionally, spiritually, and financially independent. But he can’t do that while confined to a house. We want to help him move forward. We hope you will too.
