Sad news. Tinka's cancer has returned.

A little over year ago, my four year old god daughter Tinka was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. It was a hard pill to swallow but we fought along with her.

Tinka had chemo once a week for 6 months via IV, twice a month in her spinal fluid and oral medicine every day. The cancer went into remission. We were blessed. Or so we thought.

Now the leukemia has returned and Tinka once again must face a reality that most five year olds should not have to encounter.

Instead of going back to kindergarten she is back on the intense regimen of chemo and spinal injections.

Now she rarely smiles because of pain from the ill effects of leukemia. Join me in helping Tinka get back on her feet, fight leukemia, and return to her sweet, smiling, sassy five year old self.

Her mother Noni is my god dauughter and is a single Mom. Noni will not be able to keep her full-time job in order to be able to care adequately for Tinka and take her to and from her doctor visits and treatments. Barely able to stay a paycheck ahead of her bills, Noni is going to have a hard time keeping a roof over their head, food on the table and a reliable car. Medical insurance may or may not cover all of Tinka’s medical bills. Donations will help take care of Tinka and are urgently needed.
