Help for the Hutchins

Derek was involved in a serious car accident on July 23rd around 12:30 pm while he was driving to his job in Kalamazoo. There had been an accident involving a school bus and a couple of other cars, which caused traffic to back up quite a bit. As Derek approached the stopped cars he was traveling at approximately 70 mph and unable to stop in time to avoid hitting a semi-truck. By the grace of God, rescue teams were already arriving at the scene of the other accident and were able to save Derek's life. As soon as he was stable enough to be moved, he was airlifted to the hospital where he has undergone multiple surgeries. 

Derek is an exemplary father to his two children, a devoted and loving husband, and a friend to everyone he has ever met. He’s always there for his friends and family and right now he needs your help.  Derek is as strong of an individual as they come, this will certainly be a fight, but he will pull through.

His wife, children, friends, and family are by his side but the road to recovery will be challenging not just physically and mentally but also financially.  With your donation the funds that we raise will go directly to help support his recovery and his family.  There is not a more stand-up guy than Derek, and right now he needs your help.
