Hoover Family Accident Relief

Hello, I'm Jim, and we are the Hoover family. I truly appreciate you taking a moment to consider contributing to our fundraiser.

My family has been blindsided by my injuries during a recent car accident; thank god they werent with me!

This couldn't have come at a worse time because we have had a tremendously difficult season of life that we have been trying to recover from, and with the injuries I've suffered, it's become even more difficult to lead my family out of this rut. I'm only reaching out because we need your help!

Since Hurricane Ian 18 months ago, we have endured so many hardships and difficulties which have seemingly gone from bad to worse. Immediately afterward, my home insurance rate was drastically increased at the same time my previous employer went out of business and was never able to pay me for several months of hard work. I then went through a very intensive, and expensive, oral surgery. A month later my 2 year old, Joanna, had an emergency situation from 'playing' with a hair product which required hospitilization, and shortly after that my 6 year old daughter, Brianna, had an absessed tooth that required oral surgery. Next, my last remaining grandparent, MeMom, passed away and we traveled to Philadelphia for her services. In between all of this, one of our toilets broke and flooded all of the living spaces in our house, including the kitchen, leaving us without comfort and basic needs for about 5 months because we had to disassemble our entire kitchen and relocate my son while we replaced all the flooring in our home. After we got 'our home back' we dedicated a week of our lives to travel to Tucson, AZ with our church on a mission trip to serve those there in need and we rescued a beautiful husky and named him Zerubbabel, which means "the stranger that was born of Babylon out of dispersion and confusion" but we were presented shortly after with a flea infestation that has lasted over 2 months. We were so close to moving onward & upward and Bam now this car accident!

Any money donated will be used to cover all of the additional costs we've incurred and to cover the costs of things that we haven't been able to address, along with the accident related medical costs and our families needs. We also commit to serving and loving others thereafter, but at this point our ability to serve is truly limited by our own current needs. Your contribution will be going a long way so that we may again serve the wonderful people that we love so much ❤️
