Hi, my name is Allen, and I’m writing this on behalf of my wife Reggie (Regina), our daughter Lily, and our soon-to-arrive baby girl, Elena. What should have been a joyful season for our family was turned upside down when Reggie was diagnosed with breast cancer 14 weeks into her pregnancy.

Our Journey So Far

Reggie has been undergoing chemotherapy while carrying our baby — something we never imagined facing. She has shown incredible strength and grace through it all, but the truth is this journey has taken a heavy toll on our family — emotionally, physically, and financially.

Because of her treatments, I’ve had to take significant time off work to drive her to appointments and care for Lily when Reggie is too exhausted. My employer and coworkers have been wonderfully supportive, but the lost income and added responsibilities have been tough to manage.

On top of this, we are also facing insurance challenges. Some of the medications Reggie urgently needs are being delayed or denied, which adds more stress and unexpected costs during an already overwhelming time.

We still have a long road ahead. Reggie is continuing weekly chemo infusions, along with weekly ultrasounds to make sure our baby girl is safe. After delivery, she will face a mastectomy and lymph node surgery, followed by radiation and years of hormone therapy.

It’s overwhelming to think about at times, but Reggie has already shown so much courage and strength. She amazes us every day with how she keeps fighting while still being such a loving mom to Lily and preparing for Elena. With the right support behind her, we believe she can get through this fight — and that our family will come out of it stronger, together.

About Reggie

If you know Reggie, you know she has always put others first. She’s volunteered her time to help feed people experiencing homelessness, she donates blood regularly, and she’s the type of person who always looks for small ways to make someone else’s day better. She’s a loving mom, a devoted wife, and the kind of friend who shows up without being asked. Now, as she faces this fight, we want to surround her with the same love and support she has always given so freely.

Preparing for Elena

We never thought we’d be starting over with baby supplies. Many of Lily’s things were sold or given away years ago, and now we find ourselves needing the essentials all over again — formula, bottles, diapers, and newborn clothes. With Reggie’s treatments, it’s unlikely she’ll be able to breastfeed for long, so formula and feeding supplies will be especially important.

Why We’re Asking for Help

We are asking for help because we've moved to Blue Springs December 2024, and we don't have any family and we don't have any support system available. We’re humbly asking for support as we prepare for Elena’s arrival while continuing Reggie’s treatment. Your support will help us cover:
