Nina Abraham has been fighting Glioblastoma brain cancer for 22 months. She has had her ups and downs but continues to forge ahead. She is a warrior!
Her husband Mark has been a beacon of love and hope since Nina's journey began and throughout their long life together. He must work full time not only for the salary, since Nina has not worked for two years now, but most importantly for the health insurance she needs so badly. To say he is under severe stress is an understatement as his 30 lb. weight loss can attest to!
Unfortunately, her care comes at a high price, as we are sure most people know all too well. Nina is still only 62 years old and therefore not eligible for Medicare. She needs a daily caregiver to come into the home as she is now in a wheelchair. Her insurance will not cover this cost, therefore, they can only afford this a few days a week for a few hours. She also must pay for expensive chemotherapy pills that are not covered as well as multiple copays every month. The list goes on and on.
Mark has to rent a wheelchair accessible van every week to take her to weekly doctor appointments. Her daughter Sarah and son Brendan help as much as possible. They both have young children and work fulltime. Her sister Cheryl also helps out with her daily care.
If you know Nina and Mark, they are people who would do everything they could to help anyone in need. They need your help now! We know Mark would NEVER ask for this himself.
All funds donated would go to paying any outstanding or future medical bills. They have used up all their savings and are at an impasse with nowhere to turn!
Please help if you can!
Thank you from their entire family.
