My uncle was a kind man who lived a simple life. I never saw him mad—he was always calm, no matter what was happening. He found joy in the little things, like working on his car every weekend or enjoying a burger and fries. He loved watching old movies, especially action and horror films, and would often ask me to help him rent his favorites like Steven Seagal movies, Rambo, The Untouchables, and A Bronx Tale. Helping him with anything technical became our special routine, and I’ll always cherish those moments.
About a month and a half ago, my uncle was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. The disease spread so quickly, and his passing was incredibly sudden and unexpected. He didn’t have much in terms of money or personal belongings, and with how expensive everything is these days, our family was not prepared for this loss. My father is also facing serious health challenges and hasn’t been able to work, while my mom has been caring for him and can’t work much either. This has made things even more difficult for us.
We are raising funds to help cover the cremation costs and funeral services for my uncle. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward honoring his memory and helping our family through this difficult time. I know many people are struggling right now, and any support would mean so much to us. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering a donation.
