Meet the Brown's - Stokka, Libby and Noah! These 3 are so very near to my heart as they are some of the most kind, generous people that I know. Unfortunately, a small tragedy has hit their little family. That tragedy is the C word. Recently (Monday, June 22) Stokka was diagnosed with testicular cancer. It was a whirlwind for these 3. On Tuesday, June 23, Stokka's doctor was able to go in and remove the tumor and confirm that yes, it was a cancer called Seminoma. He was able to get all of it and we are still waiting for the formal pathology reports, but we are ecstatic with the preliminary results! They could not have been better! But with this type of diagnosis comes insurance copays, deductibles and medical bills that a family really does not prepare for... How can one prepare for something like that when you have a new family, etc to care for? I say all this to say that I would really like to help Stokka and Libby in this journey and make sure that they are not worried with the financial burden of this nightmare while they try to get Stokka back on his feet and maintain a regular life!
