Hi, Sparky here.
I know some of you might have seen one of these I started back in March, but sense my secretary is lame at social media, it didnt work out so well.
I was trying to help my senior dog friends in need...but now, it is me who is need. So now Im gonna bark out this crowdfunding campaign again for myself.
Human has some injuries that may require surgery to heal, and now I'm in need of some veterinary treatment myself that is vital to keep me active and healthy.
I'm suffering from all the symptoms of Cushings Disease but the tests thus far showing as inconclusive. Therefore, most tests are needed.
I am also suffering with what we now know is "bridging spodylosis" on 3 vertebra on my mid spine, pinching my nerves and spinal cord. It is not curable, but several kinds of treatments CAN help me to slow the progress and stop pain.
Both conditions need additional tests and treatments asap that will help me but are currently difficult for my human due to her pending medical situation.
I miss being an active spokesdog for awareness in animal causes including rescue, adoption, spay & neutering, animal charity fundraising, etc.
I miss being a therapy dog for our soldiers. I miss working as an actor dog. I really miss being on the red - or green! - carpets or at animal charity events helping my human to do fundraising for great animal causes.
Mostly I miss being out and about like I used to be so all the babes can worship & adore me. ; )
I've done alot to help other animals over the years & I want to get back to it! But before I can again, I need a few helping hands...or paws...myself now. ; )
Cuz right now Im not able to do my animal charity work or much else till I get feeling better.
If you could help me get my treatments I would greatly appreciate it, and if you cant...maybe you could repost, share and RT this in your social media worlds?
And btw, remember...never give up on senior pets...we got lots of love to give, fun to have, and charity causes to help our humans with. 12 is the new 7 afterall.
