Help Slater Get X-Rays & See a Cardiologist

Hi everyone, it is with a heavy heart that I make this GoFundMe. My 10 year dog, Slater, got diagnosed with a Grade 3 heart murmur today, June 25, and the vet said it’s likely he is in heart failure, but he needs chest x-rays (& possibly an ECG) to confirm and go from there. The vet also noted that he would benefit from seeing a Vet Cardiologist (I have submitted a request to be seen by one at Dove Lewis in Portland, OR). 

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love my pets, they are my world & my reason for being.

Out of my 3 pets, Slater is my wild child. He is my curious & smart boy. He is always game for some tummy rubs and loves his pitty sister, Hippo, possibly more than me. Slater didn’t have the best start to life and thus he has some Stranger Danger issues. But once you earn his trust, you’re in his circle for life. And man, what an honor it is to be in his circle.
