Help Shannon Reclaim His Life, Health and Hope

Hello! My name is Jennifer and in the spirit of giving and love, I'm organizing this fundraiser to help my dear friend's brother, Shannon. On a more personal note, the loss of two sweet souls close to me due to mental health struggles and suicide have led me to step in to help. And I really need your help here too - for Shannon.

Life can be heavy. For some, it’s a quiet struggle hidden beneath smiles and small talk. For others, it’s a battle that eventually spills into every corner of their lives. Shannon’s story is one of quiet courage and unseen struggle — a story of years living in the shadow of undiagnosed depression. For too long, he fought this battle alone. Most recently, it led him to homelessness, with nowhere to turn and no safety net to catch him. But this story isn’t over. This story has hope.

Shannon's sister, driven by love and unshakable compassion, took action. She didn’t just make a phone call or send well-wishes. She got in her car, drove across state lines, and brought him home to live with her. Because that’s what love does — it shows up. It drives through the night. It makes space where there is none.

But love alone isn’t enough. Love needs help. Right now, his sister is doing everything she can to support Shannon as he starts over. But she can’t do it alone. She needs our help. Together, we can provide for Shannon’s most basic needs — food, clothing, hygiene essentials, — but more importantly, we can help him get the mental health care he’s needed for so long. With proper care and support, Shannon can finally have the chance to build a stable, healthy life.
