Seymour's Veternarian Bills
I was going to rob a bank but my Mom wouldn't let me!
Hello everyone. My name is Seymour and my Mom and I have been together for 10 years; I am her service animal! My Mom has been very sick and hasn't been able to work even part-time for the past two years. Then I developed difficult to regulate diabetes. My mom took me to the vet every two weeks to get tests done. But even though I was on insulin twice a day, I ended up having severe hypoglycemic episodes with seisures and would end up in the ER. They were very scary for both me and my Mom. Every trip to the ER costs about $1,500 just to start and I have been there 6 times. Most times overnight. Then there is the cost of the insulin and the needles which are very expensive and all the testing. My Mom would do anything for me, likes helping others and even started a non-profit to help raise awareness for a rare disease. But now she needs help.
My mommy found me in the last cage at the pound. I was curled up in the back and scared. I think I knew I was on my way to doggie heaven. The lady at the pound said I wouldn't let anyone touch me but when I saw my mommy I just curled up in her arms and burried my head into her neck. I was a puppy mill dog, bought in a pet store but ended up on the streets of East Los Angeles. That's when my mommy found me. The first thing we did was go to Burger King. That was great for a pup like me! I knew I had found my forever home.

I know my Mom is embarrassed to have to ask for help, which is why I am asking. My Mom is used to taking care of herself and she is very responsible but the bills are more than she can handle. Can you help us raise enough money to keep me healthy? I won't live for too many years. The doctors think I am already at least 12. But I know how much my Mom needs me to be healthy so I can help her. I know that after she gets upset I went behind her back, she will be very grateful for any help you can give. Woof
