Two Surgeries Needed With No Insurance

     On behalf of Liz, we have set up this fundraiser to help our beloved friend as she battles for life.
For the past month now she has been bleeding uncontrollably to the point of needing two blood
transfusions to keep her alive. This is being caused by fibroids in her ovaries, which are extremely
painful. Doctors have been Unsuccessful stopping the bleeding and Liz has become dangerously
anemic and without the ability to function in her daily life. She needs  a life saving surgery to
correct this. Unfortunately, thanks to our lovely government, Liz has been left without medical
coverage. Hence the need for this fundraiser.  

      To make matters worse, due to medical negligence by her doctors, a bad bacteria/infection was
left undetected in her sinuses causing her septum to disintegrate completely. It’s so bad that her
sinus cavity could collapse at any moment. If it happens when she’s asleep...She could be in trouble.
She needs to get a plastic insert installed to restore integrity in her sinuses. Until then She is on a
strong round of antibiotics. 

Without health insurance, the costs break down to:

$3,400 for the septum insertion
and  
Fibroid Removal is between $7-9,000. 

She is out of options. She cannot work, which has made it challenging to buy groceries or pay rent.
She needs our help. 

All the funds raised here will be used exclusively for surgery and medication required afterwards.
