Help pay for Salems Emergency Vet bills

It’s been a hard couple of days dealing with the ups and downs of Salem’s health. For a couple of months now, he’s been rapidly losing weight and vomiting. At first we thought it had to do with him going outside, eating random plants/ materials and treated it as such. When he continued to have diarrhea and throw up at the same time every night, that’s when I knew something was wrong.

After being in and out of the vet for the past week, countless tests, x-rays and ultra sounds. We found out Salem only has one Kidney, though it was a deformity he was born with, it isn’t helping since his only one is inflamed. I rushed him back to the vet hospital this morning after finding him chin deep in his water and not eating after his steroid shot last night. Going through this during an already admittedly hard time in my life had created an immense amount of stress not only for me mentally but financially.

Ive already spent $1,500 on what we’ve done so far and the pet insurance I ended up getting won’t cover most of the costs. It wasn’t until recently I realized how scared I’ve been to ask for help, this is me trying to do that. All funds will be put towards his ongoing medical bills and I’ll be sure to update the thread with any news coming from the doctor.
