Ryahs fight with Trisomy13
Donation protected
Hello all!
As you might already know, I’m raising money for my daughter Ryahs life battle and I’m here to share my story with you.
My name is Janelle Reiley and I am raising money for my daughter Ryah. After 9 months had passed and thinking we were going to give birth to a healthy baby we had gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Unaware of her diagnosis Ryah was born with extra digits and cleft lip and pallet. After many tests Ryah was diagnosed with Trisomy 13, a very rare chromosomal condition associated with severe intellectual disability and physical abnormalities in many parts of the body. Many babies with this condition don’t make it past their first few days of life and 5-10% make it past a year. Ryah has made 2 months, but with many appointments, home care and still continue to need. Without any of us working because she is constantly needing support and just trying to spend as much time with her because we never know when it could be her last day. Ryah was recently rushed to emergency due to her breathing and she had stopped breathing and had to have CPR preformed to bring her back by her own mother. It is starting to be more frequent and is now happening when she is sleeping. It’s now making it more stressful for everyone, especially the parents spending day and night with her at the hospital.
We are raising money for medical expenses that are not covered, gas for all the many appointments that need to be attended, parking, rent, raising three kids with no parents working. Most of all for the grieving time that could happen anytime.
If you could support my GoFundMe by making a donation and then sharing it with your network, I would greatly appreciate it. I know that money can be tight, so please know that even $5 helps me get closer to our goal!
