Help Rose Recover from Harvey

Hi, I am Jasmine, Rose's younger sister. I live in Austin, Texas, and I want to directly help my family and friends that were devistated from hurricane Harvey.

I am raising funds to support Rose and her family's immediate needs in the aftermath of the flooding from Hurricane Harvey in Houston -- lodging, food, and some of the longer term needs, replacing beds that were soaked in flood water along with couches, other living room funiture, and electronics. Not only was the house flooded but both vehicles that belong to the family have also flooded. They may need money for public transportation or a rental car. We are asking for support as soon as possible. This money will go directly to their family, in hopes of easing the financial cost of this natural disaster.


There has been thousands of dollars of damage to Rose's home  and vehicles, I am just hoping we can help them make it through the inital costs. FEMA and Insurance help might be very slow and could possibly not cover the amount of damage done. Thank you for any and all help you are able to give.


I want everyone to know they are safe and at friends home that was not flooded. They plan to move to our Aunt and Uncles house as soon as travel around Houston is safe, in the 3rd ward.


Any andditional funds over the goal will be donated to LOCAL relief efforts in Houston, by myself and Rose's family. I will be buying food, water, and other essentials this weekend and bringing them to Houston shelters, homes, and residents.
