If you know me, you know how proud I can be, and how much this pains me to ask people for help, even more for money, but I need to get help for my best buddy,
We rescued Red (the Vizsla) in February 2012 and in May 2013, he started having seizures.
We've taken him to his regular vet for this and they've referred us to a neurologist down at University of Missouri-Columbia.
After the scan, they diagnosed him with idiopathic seizures.
With a lot of trial and tribulations, we've been on different medicine and doses, but still can't find the right combo to help stop his seizures.
I would like to take him to UC Davis, UPenn, or UMinn for another consult from veterinarians who are more familiar with Vizsla seizures.
I need help funding this trip for my best friend, Red and myself. I figured about $2500-3000 for the consultation and $1000 for travel.
Even if you gave $1, I would be forever in debt to you and be truly humbled. If you would like to help, please do so, please do not feel obligated at all. Everyone's financial situation is different, and I do understand that. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for helping me give him a better chance at beating this terrible disorder.
