Help Rania And Her Children Survive and Rebuild Their Lives

Please meet the Sameerr Al-Harazin family. Mother, father and 2 children who are displaced into the most southern part of Gaza in Rafah. Due to the advancing aggression of Israeli forces into Rafah, the Sameers need to flee into Egypt.

They reached their goal for evacuation fees, and will hopefully be on the evacuation list very soon. They now need support to pay for on-going fees for traveling to Egypt, an apartment, clothes, food, literally everything. They have lost everything they own. Rania's husband is only 33 years old and suffers extreme chronic stress from going through compounded trauma.

This is their home after it was destroyed.

This family will need help not only financially, but they will continue to go through trauma after they leave going from one horrible situation to another. This fundraiser will be on-going to help them along the way.

Hi friends, my name Is Angie Walker and this fundraiser will be for on-going support for Rania Sameer family. We are aiming to raise $10k for them. The first $2000 on this page was divided between Ranias family & baby Kian family. We will continue this page for Rania and her families survival after her evacuation, and to help them rebuild their lives.

I've spent most of my life doing some kind of service to give back to those who are marginalized and disproportionately lacking in basic human needs to survive. I spent years going back and forth to Haiti after the 2010 earthquake and helped an orphanage that was effected. I've done a lot of work helping un-housed people , and multiple community events in Toronto and in the West & South side of Chicago. Those who know me know I've had my hands in grassroots initiatives for many years. I've served on boards of non-profits but have always been more drawn to having my boots on the ground helping people . I also have my certification in Non-Profit Management from UIC in Chicago and have worked for many non-profits over the years helping with fundraising efforts.

A lot of us supporting Palestine have been receiving a lot of messages from people in Gaza who are in desperate need of emergency aid from injuries, to food and water. They are intentionally being starved, unalivened, and displaced by Israel and the US. No matter if you're Christian, Jewish, Muslim or agnostic you should know this is not ok. It's time for humanity to come together and help each other.

We reached our goal of helping 2 families (Rania & Baby Kian) raise $1000 each. Thank you everyone who has helped and contributed. I unfortunately couldn't locate the other families, and was going to completely close this GoFundMe, but I have decided to continue this fundraiser for Rania and her family for on-going support. Once the Sameer family evacuates, they will need continuing support in Egypt. They are forcebily leaving their own country, family and friends to go to another country where they have no family and will have to start her whole life over again with 2 small children. I speak with her daily and she is very very scared and nervous for her future and her children's future.
