Randa Care
Hi All, As many may be aware Randa has been seriously ill since around Thanksgiving 2017. Over which time she has been in and out of the hospital with over 6 weeks in the hospital. She was initially ill with pneumonia due to her weekened immune system she contracted Meningitis. She was initially diagnosed with Viral Meningitis. She suffered from constant migraines, back and neck pain, nausea, and she continually had a low grade fever. Due to the pain she was unable to get out of bed, have any light, or noise.
During this time many of her freinds stepped up and stayed with her ensuring she had someone with her 21/7.
After 3.5 weeks of suffering and no relief she was readmitted into the hospital. The Scripps team of doctors were running tests for 2 weeks trying to figure out what was the cause of Randa's ailments . It was finally diagnosed as coccidioidal meningitis (CM).
CM is a rare complication of "Valley Fever", caused by cocci fungus spores found in the soil of the southwest. Only a few dozen people come down with CM every year.

The treatments have provided a huge step towards recovery. However, she still has a long road to full recovery.
While Randa focuses her energies on getting better. I've stepped in and created this campaign to help Randa and her family from the financial pressures she and her family are facing.
Medical bills are piling up along with a lot of other out of pocket expenses. Her sister Dena has made several last minute trips to care for Randa during which time she is not working and is not able to pay her mortgage and bills. Randa will need additional out of pocket care once she comes home from the hospital for her insurance only provides a Nurse coming in for a hour a few times a week.
I am asking for your help. Whether it's a prayer, a meal, a ride to the doctors, or helping offset costs associated with this illness. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
Other requests for help will be posted on

Thank you for your help
