Hello,
My name is Russell Alex Reasner and this is a story about our Doberman, Ra, and how he has touched our family. Ra has been apart of our family since he was 7 weeks old. He came home crying in the car and would not stop unless you showed him love and attention. To this day, he still craves your love and affection. He is truly a gentle giant with a stare that would melt your heart, a loving personality that is contagious and a goofiness that can brighten any persons day. Ra has always been the foundation to our families happiness. Whether our 8 year old Daughter, Amariah, needs a play mate; Andrea has had a long day at work or I need a companion to help me view the world positively and help me overcome my personal struggles, Ra is ALWAYS there to lift our spirits to their highest. 

Recently, at the age of 5 and a half,  Ra was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a bone cancer, affecting his front right leg. After speaking with numerous doctors about all the possibilities in prolonging his life we have come to the decision to amputate his leg in order to assure him the best quality of life that he deserves and to continue creating joyful memories with our family. Unfortunately this procedure endures a financial stress on our family at this time, costing a grand total of over $4,000 and we would appreciate any sort of assistance from your family to ours to help us conquer this battle! We know that Ra will be a warrior through the process and will continue to be a smart and playful dog that touches the lives of everyone around him. Let's help Ra continue his journey through life as the happiest dog he can possibly be!
