MY STORY:

Hi! I'm Carlos, audiovisual director and I'm currently in the process of making a leap between my current profession and “music photography / content creation”, being what moves and excites me the most; capturing in images the essence of artists and bands on stage!

I've been photographing concerts with my cell phone for a while now, and although I've been able to get brutal shots, I know that with the right equipment I can take my talent to another level. I want to practice this craft professionally, but for that I need a good camera body, a couple of good lenses and some small accessories, which will allow me to compete in the big leagues... It's not a whim! It's the reality. We all know that photography equipment is really expensive! and for some almost impossible to get... and unfortunately I don't have the resources to have access to them and I feel that I'm wasting the opportunities that are within my reach because I don't have the right tools to do it.

Why this campaign? Because the talent, enthusiasm and desire are there and I have plenty of it!... I have the confidence, but not the gear to make that jump, and I'm sadly far from reaching it with a cell phone. To compete at a high level and work for venues, festivals, promoters, record labels, publishers, artists and bands, I need images with a much higher quality than I can get right now.

With a smartphone I've reached the top of what I can give and it's not enough to keep me going as a professional.

If you like music in general, appreciate art and stories told through images, as well as helping others when you think it's worth it, your support can make a big difference in my path. Every contribution, no matter how small, will bring me closer to fulfilling my goal and finally becoming the profession I dream of. MI HISTORIA:

Hola! Soy Carlos, director audiovisual y actualmente estoy en proceso dar un salto entre mi oficio actual y la "fotografía musical y creación de contenido", siendo lo que más me mueve y emociona ¡Captar en imágenes la esencia de artistas y bandas sobre el escenario!.

Llevo un tiempo fotografiando conciertos con mi móvil, y aunque he sido capaz de conseguir tomas brutales, sé que con el equipo adecuado puedo llevar mi talento a otro nivel. Quiero ejercer este oficio profesionalmente, pero para eso necesito un buen cuerpo de cámara, un par de buenos lentes y algunos pequeños accesorios, que me permitan competir en las grandes ligas.... ¡No es por capricho! Es la realidad. Todos sabemos que los equipos fotográficos son ¡realmente costosos! y para algunos casi imposibles de conseguir... y lamentablemente no cuento con los recursos para tener acceso a ellos y siento que estoy desperdiciando las oportunidades que están a mi alcance por no contar con las herramientas adecuadas para hacerlo.

¿Por qué esta campaña? Porque el talento, la ilusión y las ganas están ahí y ¡me sobran!... tengo la confianza, pero no el equipo para dar ese salto, y estoy tristemente lejos de alcanzarlo con un teléfono móvil. Para competir a un alto nivel y trabajar para salas, festivales, promotoras, artistas y bandas, necesito imágenes con una calidad muy superior a la que puedo conseguir ahora mismo.

Con un teléfono he llegado al tope de lo que puedo dar y no es suficiente para seguir adelante como profesional.

Si te gusta la música en general, valoras el arte y las historias contadas a través de imágenes, aparte de ayudar a los demás cuando crees que merece la pena, tu apoyo puede marcar una gran diferencia en mi camino. Cada aportación, por pequeña que sea, me acercará a cumplir mi objetivo y convertirlo por fin en el oficio con el que sueño. Ayúdame donando lo que puedas y te apetezca, y así conseguiré gracias a tu apoyo, que más bandas y artistas confíen en mi talento; ¡Que las imágenes hablen por sí solas!

Si no puedes donar, o no te interesa por alguna razón mi causa... el solo hecho de compartir mi historia con alguien que creas que pueda interesarle, también me ayudaría enormemente, así llegaría a más gente que podría apoyarme ¡Espero que puedas ser parte de mi viaje en esto! Que es básicamente destinar TODO el dinero a ese equipo fotográfico profesional que necesito, e iniciar el camino con mayor profesionalismo, y generando mayor confianza en quienes buscan o necesitan creadores de contenido audiovisual especializado en música. ¡Un millón de gracias por tomarte el tiempo de leer esto! y si has llegado hasta aquí, espero que puedas apoyar mi camino :)
