The Chambless family in Sour Lake, TX (east of Houston) was hit by Hurricane Harvey just like so many of their neighbors in Sour Lake, Pinewood, Bevil Oaks, and Beaumont. They ended up with over two feet of water in their house, and without flood insurance, will have to start over again in the house they've lived in, and raise their children in, since 1986. My brother-in-law Willie built the house with his own hands, with the help of his family and friends.
Now, it will have to be completely torn down to the studs. If you are able, or if you know someone who is able, please share, donate, spread the word, so that we can help them rebuild their home.
The funds raised will go towards building supplies, furniture, food, clothes - everything that was destroyed by the flood.
I am Patty's brother, and live in Longview, Washington. I'm working with Pat and Willie's son, Jason, to help raise funds for them.
