Support a Family Displaced by Fire

On 12/22/24, our neighbors Sam & Jose’s, home caught fire while they were out of town for Christmas. Their home is now uninhabitable and has left them and their 4 young kids displaced, with no belongings. Their children are between the ages of 1 and 13.

I am starting this fundraiser on their behalf, and with their permission to help them get back on their feet as they are starting from scratch.

The Palacios-Gomez family is known for their unwavering kindness and boundless generosity. Their blue home with white shutters was more than just a home—it was a sanctuary for anyone in need. At the center of the family is Sam and Jose, a couple whose love for others knows no bounds. They are always ready to lend a hand to whoever is in need. They have an uncanny ability to make everyone feel valued. They remember birthdays, offer a listening ear, and celebrate victories-big or small- with the same enthusiasm. Their door is open to all and they’re always ready to share a hot meal with anyone who drops by. Their 4 children inherit their parents’ compassionate spirit and are always sharing their toys and love with the neighborhood kids. This family is truly a blessing to anyone who is lucky to know them. Although they are going through this difficult time, their faith for better times remains strong.

El 22/12/24, la casa de nuestros vecinos Sam y José se incendió mientras estaban fuera de la ciudad por Navidad. Su casa ahora es inhabitable y los ha dejado a ellos y a sus 4 hijos pequeños desplazados, sin pertenencias. Sus hijos tienen entre 1 y 13 años.

Estoy iniciando esta recaudación de fondos en su nombre para ayudarlos a recuperarse mientras comienzan desde cero.

La familia Palacios-Gómez es conocida por su inquebrantable amabilidad y generosidad ilimitada. Su casa azul con contraventanas blancas era más que un simple hogar: era un santuario para cualquiera que lo necesitara. En el centro de la familia están Sam y José, una pareja cuyo amor por los demás no conoce límites. Siempre están dispuestos a echar una mano a quien lo necesite. Tienen una asombrosa habilidad para hacer que todos se sientan valorados. Recuerdan los cumpleaños, escuchan y celebran las victorias, grandes o pequeñas, con el mismo entusiasmo. Su puerta está abierta a todos y siempre están listos para compartir una comida caliente con cualquiera que pase por allí. Sus 4 hijos heredan el espíritu compasivo de sus padres y siempre están compartiendo sus juguetes y amor con los niños del vecindario. Esta familia es verdaderamente una bendición para cualquiera que tenga la suerte de conocerlos. Aunque están pasando por este momento difícil, su fe en tiempos mejores sigue siendo fuerte.
