My Nana, Mary Lou Weeden has always been the heart of our family, known for her happiness, kindness, and strength. my nana has been diagnosed with stage 5 pancreatic cancer. Because of her age and past health issues, she isnt strong enough to go through chemotherapy. She's been in and out of the hospital, but being there brings down her spirits and makes her feel uncomfortable and alone. At home, my Dad and Uncle do everything they can so she can be at home more, they help move her, making sure she's comfortable and providing constant care and attention. But she needs real medical support that we cant provide on our own.

Having 24/7 home care would mean my Nana could spend her remaining time in comfort without pain in her own home, surrounded by family who loves her. It would give her dignity and peace, and help us make sure she's never alone. Unfortunately, she doesn't have life insurance, and we have nothing saved for her funeral. But we want to honor her wish to be buried next to her son, so she can rest with her family.

We are asking for support so my Nana can get the help she needs and be comfortable. She has always been the backbone of our family, spreading happiness and kindness, and never asking for help herself. Most of her family is in Mexico including her 8 sisters, so we want to make her as comfortable as possible with whoever can visit her here. Donations or even prayers would mean so much. Even if we cant raise enough for 24/7 home care, we hope to cover her funeral so she can rest peacefully next to her son.
