Help Our Friend Mike Romeo Hurricane IAN Recovery

This is an updated version to that which was published on Sat., 10/8/2022. Mike Romeo is a friend, and a former teammate at Saturn/GM. Through the years, he has continued to espouse the character traits that we learned together, at Saturn. I can't count the times that I have seen him emulate generosity, love, and loyalty. He is a good, solid, generous human being, who not only was in the center of Hurricane IAN, but he lost his two precious dogs, one after the other, due to the stress of it all.

While he is safe, he just got word today that his insurance will not cover the damages incurred nor his belongings that were lost. When I first reached out to Mike, he wouldn't think of taking any assistance, but only wanted to spread to his community.

Every day, he is out in his community offering help, and being the Mike that I remember, never just thinking of himself.

I am reaching out to our network, friends, and others, to come together as a support structure for Mike, to help him not only recover, but to channel the love and goodwill around him.

ANY amount will help. There are many suffering due to this disaster right now, and I feel strongly that aiding Mike, will inevitably aid everyone around him.

Why do I feel so strongly about helping Mike? 1). Its the right thing to do, 2) he is my friend, and 3), I know first hand that when all else seems like its fighting against you, the one thing that can help you through the darkest nights.....is knowing that you are still here, and that you can give to others, for there are so many who have it worse.
