18-year-old Mel Stenson has her whole, beautiful life ahead of her.
She was about to enrol in the college courses of her dreams when her father, Bill Holland Stenson, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly last week.
As you can imagine, the scope of Mel’s grief is beyond words.
She said: "He taught me almost everything I know. He was the most amazing father and friend that I could ever ask for. He was loved by so many. I will miss him so much!"

We are reaching out for your help because there is no safety net. Without her father’s income, Mel’s dreams of furthering her education and taking her next steps are at risk of coming up against an insurmountable wall.
The funeral is this week. Mel and her Mother Cheryl are in an understandable state of shock at the moment and planning their next steps will be difficult. Your donation will help Mel to feel supported as she plans the path ahead. At the moment, going forward seems like an impossibility.
