Just last month I was celebrating with my father his 47th birthday and now here I am planning his funeral. I cannot express the hurt and pain I feel nor the frustration of not having enough to give my father a proper burial. I did not see this coming at all! For this reason, I am asking every friend and family member that has reached out to me and said, "Please let me know if you need anything!" I ask in the most humble way possible to please help me give my father the burial he deserves.
My father, despite his struggles, was a good man and tried his best! And that's all I could ever ask for. This year was one of his amazing years. He was a good father, grandfather, brother, son, friend and employee. I know that he was loved by many, but no one loved him more than me! Although I'm hurting, I cannot be selfish for I know that he is no longer suffering. I simply ask to please help me lay my father to rest.
