Help Mambo Heal

We adopted Mambo on Father’s Day this year, he had been in the shelter just shy of a whole year. During his stay he has suffered with skin issues off and on, resulting in a 10 page list of medical history. He is the sweetest soul, 
He was brought in off of the street, He is he loves affection and is friendly with all dogs, he was a volunteer favorite and a tester dog for other dogs reactiveness at the shelter, he loved getting out in play group and was so excited to go on walks. Everyone at the shelter was excited to see him finally go to a good home, many of the volunteers and workers came to say goodbye to him.
Now, for the reason I’m asking for help.  He is presumably 6 years old but his teeth are extremely worn and damaged and many of them need to be removed as soon as possible. Which will be the main large expense. 
 I was told he had some skin issues and I was fine with it and knew I would need to put money away to do some tests and get possible meds down the road.
However, I wasn’t made aware that he had an active severe skin infection on the day we took him home. Going in for a checkup this first week home we were told he will need to be on a pricey special Rx food for 3 months to rule out food allergies, on top of that he needs antibacterial antibiotics for the next 3 weeks, and a expensive medicated antibacterial shampoo for 2-3 months as well. And finally monthly antibiotic ear infection treatments for 3-4 months due to scar tissue in his ear canals blocking the ability for them to dry out properly.
We were aware he had some allergies but not aware to the extent of treatment he needed immediately.
It turns out teeth have exposed nerves that are probably painful and the whole front six top teeth need to be removed and possibly more ASAP, his skin is incredibly itchy and bumpy and is spread across his abdomen, his feet and his legs and are triggering his ear infection as well. 
We just want to love him and give him a great life, we just need a little help to get it on the right track. The amount we ask for is to cover the dental surgery he desperately needs, the cost of his medicated food and shampoo for the next 2 months and the cost of an allergy test to give us a starting point to what we need to do to help in for the foreseeable future. We are not asking for funds for his other medications or additional testing that may be needed. Just those main items. Below is a photo of his teeth so you can have a better understanding of the issue at hand and his skin I have no good photo that really shows the extent of the infection the way it looks when you see it in person, but it is very dark red and just covering him and spreading.

Once healthy my goal is to get him tested and approved as a therapy dog so he can go put smiles as big as his on other people’s faces- albeit even if he’s down a few teeth- maybe that’ll make their smile even bigger.

We’ve been saving towards his surgery and have adjusted his amount from $3500 to $2500 as we are able to put a little back due to changing up some of our bills and expenditures temporarily. we plan to get his surgery done by the first weekend in August. Thank you for any and all you can do!
