Organizer (Mohammed Asfour – Belgium):
Hello, my name is Mohammed Asfour, and I live in Belgium. I am organizing this fundraiser for my cousin Mahmoud Asfour and his family, who are enduring unbearable suffering because of the war in Gaza. I will manage and transfer all donations directly to Mahmoud’s wife, Haya Asfour, to help her provide food, water, and urgent needs for their children.
Here is Mahmoud’s story, in his own words:
My name is Mahmoud Asfour, and I am originally from Gaza, Palestine. Right now, I am stuck in Egypt receiving urgent medical treatment, while my beloved wife Haya Asfour and our two young daughters, Lubna Asfour and Naya Asfour, remain trapped inside Gaza, living through unimaginable horrors.
Our family has been shattered and torn apart. Haya is struggling alone every day to keep our daughters alive amid bombing, hunger, and despair, while I am powerless and far away, unable to hold them or protect them. The pain of separation is destroying us emotionally as a family.
Little Lubna Asfour, once full of smiles, now carries the sadness of war in her eyes. She and Naya Asfour suffer under the unbearable heat of the tents, lack of food, dirty water, and endless displacement. Their childhood has been stolen, replaced by fear and trauma.
Through this fundraiser, we are not only trying to provide food, clean water, and medical care — we are desperately trying to save Haya, Lubna, and Naya Asfour’s lives and, with your help, reunite them with me as soon as possible.
Your donation will go directly toward:
Food and clean drinking water
Medical needs and basic supplies
Transportation and safe shelter inside Gaza
Contributing to evacuation costs, should the opportunity arise
I, Mahmoud Asfour, will personally withdraw the funds and, together with my cousin Mohammed Asfour, ensure they are securely and directly transferred to my wife, Haya Asfour, through trusted money transfer channels available to families inside Gaza.
Every single contribution — no matter how small — will make a real difference in my family’s survival. And if you cannot donate, even sharing our story can bring us closer to safety and hope.
From the depths of my heart, thank you for standing with us. ❤️
