Help Kayla Study Ministry in Australia

Hi! Kayla Kerendian here. Let me tell you a bit about my history and where I'm heading.

I grew up with two Jewish parents who met at a Jewish singles dance in the 80s. Growing up, we celebrated the Jewish holidays alongside my dad's huge Middle Eastern family. My younger years, in New York, were spent living in a home where our back gate connected to our synagogue parking lot. As I grew up, I attended Hebrew school and my knowledge of the Torah and my ancestors increased. Lil' side note... my Hebrew name, given to me at birth is Besorah (בְּשׂוֹרָה) which means good news or Gospel. In the OT, it is the word used in relation to the end of the exile (Isaiah 52:7) and the coming of the messianic King (Isaiah 60:1).

I didn't know anything about Jesus until I encountered Him in multiple dreams from 2018-2022. In the dreams, I was fully asleep and He spoke to me about following Him, His power over darkness and that there was authority in His name. At the time, I didn't understand what it meant to follow Him, though. Since coming to Australia in 2016, I had engaged with new age practices from astrology to tarot, yoga to 'esoteric philosophy', crystals and plant medicine.

In April 2022, I had another dream, one I could not ignore any more. The dream was about where I was heading and it was not pretty. As I woke up in what felt like spiritual agony, hysterical tears and pain, I heard a voice command "study a bachelor of theology". It was then that I departed from the life I had created over six years, all the friends and everything I knew in New South Wales, and came to Brisbane to study. God quickly connected me with my home church and Christian Heritage College where I'm now studying a Bachelor of Ministry.

Truely, from the moment of my conception God has had His hand on my life and has shown me great favour. I have been blessed with a job I enjoy—one where I can both minister to people about Yeshua and empower them on their health journey. As an overseas student studying in Australia though, I don't have access to fee help or government payments, so I've been working full-time. With help from my community, for my 26th birthday this year, I've been urged to make a GoFundMe. I'm asking friends and family to help support me in whichever way they can, via financial support or prayers. The money donated will go towards one semester payment. Both prayers and monetary support are greatly appreciated. I'm praying that the Lord bless you in return!

I just want to say a last word as a Jewish person myself. My heart hurts for my family, the Jews around the world who do not know God in the way I have come to know Him. As Father, good counsellor, friend and Saviour. I have a heart for the people of Israel and my Jewish friends and family. As I mature in the Lord, I know He will guide me to ministering the good news to them and I trust I will see many saved in my lifetime. In His way, and in His timing. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity I've been given to post this fundraiser and share it with my wider community. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

The truest love I have ever felt is Yeshua Ha'Mashiach. To encounter Him is my deepest prayer for every being on this earth. John 13:35 "By this, all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
