Help Support Julia and the Kendall Family

On Friday, September 8, Julia Kendall was rushed to the hospital after taking a serious turn for the worse while fighting Mono. Because of the severity of her condition, she was airlifted from a local hospital to UW Madison Hospital. Julia was suffering from Bacterial Meningitis with swelling on the brain as well as multiple blood clots. Suzy stayed at the hospital and had to rent a local hotel room in Madison to be there for Julia.

Julia was hospitalized for 13 days to address the Meningitis infection and blood clots. She has two blood clots at the back of her brain and has a blockage in her jugular vein. She was released home on Weds. 9/20 to continue at-home IV treatments but was interrupted as she began suffering pain above her right eye and a bad headache last night and today.

They returned to the local ER, after consult with their UW Doctors, and are having multiple tests. Julia's spinal fluid infection levels are climbing--meaning the antibiotics are not working. They are waiting for results and may need to transport Julia by ambulance back up to UW Madison. Updates to come. Please continue praying!!

How can we help??

Their health share plan will cover some cost but will still leave the family with a percentage of the expenses (think portion of Flight For Life cost, ongoing hospital stay, plus future outpatient/at home medicines and supplies) which is a huge stress on the family. Please pray for Julia's complete recovery, and for her family. Prayerfully consider if you can make any contribution to help them out---it would be greatly appreciated! The goal may be updated, because all is unknown at this point.
