Help John Beat Cancer

Hi I'm John Schmidt and on March 25th, 2014 at 5:15 pm I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. At 9:45 pm I was in the operating room receiving emergency surgery to remove 14" of my large intestine. When I woke up I had an iliostony bag connect to right side of my stomach (simple English: they disconnected my pipes and I have to use a plastic bag to go number two). Cancer has been an eye-opener; it really makes you slow down and pay attention to the small things in life. Cancer helped me to re-establish a relationship with son, daughter and ex-wife (no real communication for almost 3 years). Cancer has brought many challenges, but it has brought on blessing and moved mountains that I thought could never be moved. Cancer has strengthened my faith in my heavenly Father and his amazing plan for me. I plan on beating this disease and I'm asking for your help. I went from being employed full time to disabled within 6 hours. I have tightened me belt and reduced my living expenses and appreciate all the help that my Family and the Church have provided. To God and Family I thank you. Some of the treatment options are not covered by medical insurance. Any amount will be greatly appreciated and sharing this post with your social network would make my day. Thanks for your help, "Fight On"
