Help with Joel's Leukemia Medical Expenses

This isn't the kind of page anyone should have to set up with their name on it. Even more so, no one should have to hear the words, "Well, this isn't the conversation you were hoping to have, but your test results came back..."
On Thursday, December 28, 2023, I had that conversation with a doctor I had JUST been referred to the week prior - Dr. Edit Tolnai (from Hungary), an oncologist.
Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (Cancer of the bone marrow and blood)
Next steps:
Wait for results of 5th blood test in 2 weeks
- Schedule a CT scan of my abdomen (to measure the spleen as a data point)
- Schedule a bone marrow biopsy to determine the severity of the cancer and what type of medication is needed.
- Begin daily pill as treatment
- Follow up appointments, monthly
