Help Joe Ervin get back on his feet(literally)

Hello! If you have ever had a drink or eaten out in Raleigh NC there’s a great chance Joe Ervin has served you! From Brio Tuscan Grille, Busy Bee, Tupelo Honey and Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Joe has been very busy. He is also an extremely talented Artist, Handyman and Carpenter. 

Unfortunately, Joe had a terrible accident on Tuesday April 27th, 2021. We were all at a lake celebrating a coworker’s Birthday and Joe was trying to help one of his dogs out of the water. He was unaware there was dangerously slippery Algae/Moss covering the rocks at the edge of the water, and slipped hard enough to break his Femur bone.  While Paramedics were called immediately, the next couple days were an unbelievable challenge for Joe, and those who care about him. He underwent surgery to insert a metal rod to heal the fracture, underwent constant PT, and a blood transfusion. While he will be ok, this event has changed his life dramatically in an instant. Joe does not have insurance, and the Hospital has generously offered a discount to his Medical Bills they will still be incredibly expensive. Add the fact that he makes his living as a Bartender , so obviously will not be able to work for some time, he is looking at a huge financial setback. 

Joe is a big guy who is pretty much impossible not to notice when he is in the room. He is one of the most motivated people I know, always working on something. And he always makes the time to help someone out whether it be with their car, phone, or just to offer support or a joke.
