My name is Carmen and I'm raising money to help my sister and her family after they suffered a terrible house fire yesterday, while they were celebrating Mother's Day. Being in Illinois and my sister in Massachusetts, this is the least I can do to help them during this difficult time.

Thank God no one was home, everyone is safe and the firefighters were able to save her pets as well.

Unfortunately, they have lost all the personal belongings....They were only able to salvage a few pieces of clothing. It will be months before the home is repaired and before they can return to their lives again. All donations will be  used to purchased clothes and personal items for my sister, brother in law, 9 year old niece and my adult niece and nephew.

My sister is a teacher & my brother in law is in law enforcement...So anyone that knows them, knows how selfless they are, always willing to lend a helping hand...I'm praying we can show them the same in return.
