This is a campaign dedicated to helping Heidi Collins raise the funds she needs to fight stage 4 colo-rectal cancer.
Approximately 14 months ago, my friend and beloved sister in the Lord collapsed in her car when her colon ruptured and infection went all through her body. She was rushed to the hospital, and after some tests it was discovered that Heidi had stage 4 colo-rectal cancer. She underwent emergency surgery, but it had metastasized to part of her liver and doctors could not remove all of the cancer.
So Heidi - a very long-term, dedicated believer in natural healing - decided to fight the cancer through prayer, and natural healing methods. She has maintained a rigorous, very healthy diet, taken lots of really good supplements, and has been doing everything in her power to help her body fight the cancer. However, she has not had insurance coverage until just recently, and the coverage she does have does not cover some of the specialized care she is pursuing. So much of her medical care thus far has come out of her own pocket, and it has pretty much drained all of her resources.
Now, 14 months later, Heidi is at a place where more intensive intervention needs to take place. Her body has not responded as well as we would have hoped, and now she needs to take more powerful action against the five large tumors that have invaded her colon, stomach and near her kidneys.
We - her friends and family - have come together to create this campaign because we love Heidi and we urgently want to see her receive the top-notch, whole-person, comprehensive cancer treatment that will save her life. Heidi is the kind of woman who is always first to give; first to volunteer, first to step in and offer of her time, her talents, her finances ... whatever she has to give, she is happy to give to someone else. She is a worship leader at our church, and a substitute teacher. She is a beautiful, faithful woman of God who is an incredible blessing to everyone who knows her.
Heidi is trusting the Lord for healing, and her biggest request would be for everyone who reads this funding campaign to agree with her in prayer that YES, she is HEALED in the Lord. The cancer MUST die and MUST leave her body entirely. In the name of Jesus and by His Word, Heidi is HEALED...AMEN!
We agree!! However, we also know that sometimes the Lord uses PEOPLE! And so we are also asking that every person who sees this campaign, will you please give something? A dollar ... five dollars ... 10 dollars ... 100 dollars ... 1,000 dollars ... whatever amount the Lord lays on your heart to give, we will gladly and thankfully receive! We see every dollar donated as an armor-piercing BULLET that has cancer in its cross-hairs, and those dollars will to MORTAL DAMAGE to the cancer in Heidi's body. YES! We BLESS you and we ask the Lord to richly and abundantly lavish you with His love and His favor as you PARTNER with Him in bringing about Heidi's complete healing! Thank you so much!

So no matter what, your donation dollars will go to healing and restoration of life - either directly to Heidi, and once she is healed, to survivors of human sex trafficking. So be assured that your donation shall accomplish great things.
