Help Fardeen to Recover From a Tragic Hit and Run
Donation protected
During Taliban’s government in Afghanistan, my family of seven took refuge to Pakistan. After hardships and the trauma of the war, all my family wanted was a peaceful life, but then my four years old brother Fardeen was hit by a car and the driver ran away. He was in comma for two months. After waking up from comma, Fardeen spent another four months in hospital under intensive care. Due to brain hemorrhage (bleeding), it was required for Fardeen to go through a brain surgery. Unfortunately, as refugees in a foreign country with little income, my family was unable to pay the cost of surgery and therapy. Therefore, he never fully recovered from the accident.

Fardeen is fourteen years old now and he is still suffering from the accident. He has difficulty in speaking, walking, and moving his left arm. His current situation is concerning as he gets strokes which increases the possibility of damage to his brain vessels. Per doctors’ advise, he must go through a brain surgery to reduce the risk of permanent disability. These procedures are not available in Afghanistan which requires him to travel outside of the country.
Your donation will go a long way to help this young man, who is impatiently waiting to walk, continue his education and have a normal life. You can also help him by sharing his story with doctors and professionals. I appreciate your support and care for Fardeen.
Note: I am Geety Hellali, Fardeen's sister. I assure you all that each and every penny donated to Fardeen will be spent on his treatment.
