We are Ethan and Jennifer, and we find ourselves in a situation we never imagined—struggling to recover from a devastating flood that has left us in a state of distress.

On Monday, September 11th 2023, our lives took an unexpected turn. After the nationally talked about Leominster, Massachusetts flood. Exhausted from celebrating a friend's wedding over the weekend, we decided on a quiet evening at home. Little did we know that within moments, our home would be inundated by rising floodwaters from both our front and back yards.

As the water rushed in, it consumed our basement, garage, first-floor laundry, and den, leaving behind a trail of destruction. Our cherished family heirlooms, memories from our wedding day, furniture, appliances, and decorations were all lost in the deluge.

Adding to the heartache, our insurance company informed us that we didn't have flood insurance, leaving us solely responsible for the overwhelming costs of rebuilding our lives.

We are incredibly fortunate to have had immediate assistance from kind-hearted, neighbors, family & friends, professionals—plumbers, contractors, and electricians—who volunteered their time to help us in our time of need.

However, the road to recovery is long, and the financial burden is significant. We've spent years working hard to provide for ourselves and even indulging in a few well-deserved vacations. Today, we humbly find ourselves asking for your help.
