Have you heard of Erin Greene?
On Halloween night in 2013, Erin Greene, a Montreal resident, survived a violent polar bear attack in Churchill, Manitoba. The bear grabbed Erin, thrashed at her, severed 3 arteries, teared her scalp and a piece of her left ear.
She was extremely lucky to survive, but faced $13,000 in medical bills for the air ambulance flight and ground ambulance services.

Erin, my precious friend, has handled this traumatic experience with grace, optimism and positivity. She's never asked us for help. However, we received terrible news last night: her home went up in flames and Erin lost everything in Churchill again. She had just recently landed in her favourite town, despite the traumatic past, and yet she was hit once again with a very emotionally and financially draining situation.
This is why I created this GoFundMe page. Erin never asks for anything, but I would like to at least help a part of her stress which must be beyond what I can imagine. I want her to feel loved & supported. That is all I ask. If you can donate just a few dollars, you can help us help Erin get back on her feet and celebrate the extraordinary woman that she is. Erin is the quirkiest, happiest, funniest woman I know. I've never seen her lose hope. She's an incredibly generous woman who would do anything for her friends, and I am simply returning her the favour.
Erin takes advantage of life every day more than anyone I know. She lives to the fullest and inspires me every day to have courage and to go for it.
