Embassy Row CDC: COVID-19 Economic Relief Fund

Donation protected
Embassy Row Child Development Center, located in Washington, DC, serves families with children 6 weeks to 5 years old for part-time and full-time child care and education. As a center, ERCDC was founded in 2017 with the belief in nurturing and embracing kindness, resilience and excellence with genuine love and care for the whole child.

On March 13, 2020, Embassy Row Child Development Center made the difficult decision to temporarily close their doors in an effort to protect the center community from the spread of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19.  However, as a small business, their continued closure for the majority of April (and potentially beyond) means that they will not be able to pay any of the teachers or staff past April 1.

Now more than ever, it's so important for us to unite in times of crisis so that a stronger community is built for whatever lies ahead. We're all in this together, and that includes our children’s teachers--many of whom live paycheck to paycheck and do not know how they will continue to afford groceries,  pay rent, or afford medical care for a sick child.

As parents of children who are taught, cared for, encouraged, and loved by these incredible teachers, we want to stand up and support the staff through the coming weeks, if not months, by easing their financial burden. It’s time to care for those who care for us. #HelpERCDC

All funds raised will be divided evenly among the staff of ERCDC.
