Help during Tellys brain surgery recovery ❤️‍

Hello all. First off, thank you for taking the time to read our story. It means a lot

On February 16th, Telly had multiple seizures in our home. An ambulance was dispatched and he was taken to our local ER. He then had another large tonic clonic seizure, which prompted a CT scan of his head. They found a very large mass, later diagnosed as cerebral arterial aneurysm. It was one of the largest the neurosurgeon had ever seen in practice, almost 30mm (typical aneurysms are less than 10mm).

On February 25th he underwent an angiogram and stent procedure, which was unsuccessful. So, on March 8th he had a live saving 14 hour brain surgery (craniotomy, artery bypass & aneurysm clipping). The surgery was successful in isolating the aneurysm, however he had a stroke and multiple seizures post-op which then caused multiple deficits. He was moved from Providence Saint Vincents Neuro Critical Care Unit to the Rehab Institute of Oregon for inpatient rehabilitation on March 23rd. He is learning to walk, speak, read, write and perform daily care functions. He is experiencing aphasia (inability to speak or comprehend) which makes it difficult for him to communicate and recall words to form sentences.

Telly is the main financial support for our family, and without him working we are having a very difficult time paying for rent, utilities, food and medical bills. We also have a 7 year old daughter and 7 animal family members in our household (cats, rats and a dog)! They are all counting on me to provide for them now.
