DAVE'S STORY
When our friend Dave Hay was diagnosed with stage four cancer early January 2018, his first thoughts were of his family. As a devoted husband to Sarah, and father to his grown son Chris and 10 year old daughter Annabel, he thought of what can be done in the present, to help his family’s future. While Dave and Sarah try to gain some sense of control after receiving this diagnosis, we would like to help give them a sense of security for the future by raising funds for Annabel’s post-secondary education.
As we try to convey feelings that are impossible to put into words, we can definitely show our support by making a contribution to this fund. We all know that Dave would do this for us if the tables were turned!
Dave is known as a soft spoken individual, and is one the most honest, authentic, and hard working person we’ve come to know. He lives by the code ‘Give a Hand’, which has also demonstrated that if you give, you will receive! The support of their workplace, friends, and family has overwhelmed Dave and Sarah since his New Year’s diagnosis.
Please help by contributing so Dave and Sarah will at least have comfort knowing that Annabel will have access to education and the brightest future possible under the circumstances because of the financial commitment we have made today.
