On October 5th Cory Mork was riding his motorcycle, and was involved in a head on accident with a drunk driver. The impaired driver swerved into the oncoming lanes, and struck my cousin. Cory was wearing a helmet as he always does. He was taken to a level 1 trauma center, but had to be transferred to John C. Lincoln Medical Center where they could place him on ECMO due to complications with his oxygenation.
