Dearest Brothers and Sisters ❤️~
The homeless epidemic is real, it is heartbreaking and it’s happening to way too many people. Most of us want to help in some way but feel overwhelmed and don’t know where to begin. You can begin right here, and help prevent it from happening to one more person.
My name is Diana. I am asking for folks to help my best friend Christopher Childress. He’s a wonderfully amazing friend to all who’ve met him. He is a Reverend, the Godfather of my daughter, and served as officiate at my wedding. He is amazingly gifted as a teacher, artist, sculptor, and creator of magical tools, incense, jewelry, and talismans.
Christopher is from the Nipomo Mesa, and has been a lifelong Central Coast resident. We’ve been spiritual siblings since 1988 and there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for him.
But I can’t help him alone!
After March 30, he will no longer be able to call the Central Coast his home. We hope he will be able to return, but we don’t know when.
Christopher’s dearly loved late mother, Connie, purchased his mobile home for him before she passed so he’d forever have a place to call home.
Sadly, Christopher has ongoing issues with a neighbor, and now he is being forced to move. His neighbor has been harassing him for years based on his sexuality and his religion.
This neighbor has even tried to prevent him from practicing his religion peacefully within his own space.
But within the last year, the neighbor has taken the fight to the owners of the residential park where Chris lives, and now he is forced to move, at great cost.
He must vacate his home by the end of March 2021. Time is running out!
This past year he received some serious medical news and is now dealing with many physical health challenges related to this.
This development made the neighbor’s harassment especially cruel and personal.
Every time I’ve visited him, I met people he’s opened his heart and home to, to help them get on their feet. Even when his health couldn’t allow him to care for himself, he was there for others.
I know everyone who reads this who knows Christopher understands that what I’m saying is true.
And if you haven’t met him yet, please believe that he is one the most kind and loving people one could ever hope to befriend.
And now it’s time for us to show him the kindness and love that he’s always shown for others; he’s always helped people with zero judgment on his end.
No hesitation, no questions asked, he has consistently been an amazing and loyal friend to all who know him.
Christopher is living on a fixed income and needs to rent a storage unit to begin putting his belongings in while he searches for a new home for himself and his rescue pup, Cucuy. He doesn’t know where he’s headed, but we have to do this one step at a time.
I am living up north, and can't help him much physically, so we are also seeking local friends to volunteer to help him pack up and move his belongings to a storage unit.
The storage unit- that’s where Go Fund Me comes in. We need to rent him one for a few months while he figures out his next step.
He will also be needing to rent a truck to move things to the unit, as well as another truck to relocate him and his precious little pup, Cucuy.
Chris and Cucuy cannot do this without outside help.❤️
If all of us who’ve been either touched by his love or touched by this situation could donate $50 or whatever you can afford to this cause, he may come out of this okay. ❤️
But we need your help!
This urgent situation is time-sensitive.
2020 has been a shitstorm, and 2021 isn’t looking much better for many of us.
But I know that it will be worse for our brother Chris if we don’t come together at this time to help him. Now is the time we are calling on the generosity of others.
Christopher and Cucuy are facing homelessness.
Christopher and Cucuy❤️
Chris rescued Cucuy from a rough life on the streets. She’s the sweetest little thing and deserves shelter and security with her best friend and rescuer! ❤️
Please help.
Thank you, God Bless, Blessed Be,
& Namaste-
