Hello my name is Vianey. I am sharing my story today in hopes that someone will help me fund a costly surgery for my service animal and best friend Canteen. 3 years ago i decided to become a puppy raiser for a local non profit organization that places service animals with disabled veterans in need. After an amazing year raising Canteen i did one of the hardest things in the world, i returned her to the organization to be placed with a new owner. Though it broke my heart i was so proud of Canteen and was happy that she would be providing an invaluble service to a more than deserving individual. A few days ago i recieved a phone call letting me know that Canteen suffered an injury and now has a torn ligament in her right hind leg. As a result Canteen is no longer able work as a service animal and has been returned to me for proper care. Canteens injury requires a costly surgery and after care program that as a young college student i do not have the funds for. I am hoping and praying that anyone will find it in their hearts to donate to my cause. Canteen is an amazing animal that for the past 2 years has been the legs, arms, hand and comforting companion to U.S Air-force Veteran. It is my greatest hope that she be repaid for her duty served by recieveing a the surgery that will atleast allow her to live the life of a normal happy K-9. I am forever grateful for any and all donations & prayers.
*** A special Thank You to all Veterans who too have provided an invaluble service to our nation.
